Product description
Set of 10 plywood stacking chairs designed for the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna. This iconic design embodies a streamlined, lightweight silhouette. Roland Rainer made early use of plywood technology, developed for variability and efficiency in public architecture.
The beautiful angle of the seat and back is specifically shaped for curved plywood and is surprisingly comfortable. The recognizable, angular wooden A-frame contrasts beautifully with the softly curved shell: a timeless combination that can be used in both interiors and event settings.
Good used vintage condition with corresponding scratches.
