Portrait of a young woman from the Parisian aristocracy, taken in the 1930s at the Studio of the Manuel Brothers, located at 47 Rue Dumont d'Urville, 16th arrondissement.
The studio produced portraits of prominent figures.
Print on baryta paper, slightly blurred around the face, diffused frontal lighting, extremely fine grain with subtle gradation.
Mounted on kraft paper with hand-torn edges.
Gilt-leaf Art Deco frame.
