This is a vintage table lamp, designed by Paolo Marioni for the Italian manufacturer Marioni in the 1980s. The piece is a characteristic example from the brand's 'gemstone' collection, known for its luxurious materials and classic forms. The design stands out with its urn-shaped porcelain base with a deep blue, marbled finish reminiscent of the lapis lazuli gemstone.
The lamp is manufactured in Italy and consists of a glazed porcelain base and a large, conical silk lampshade. The base has a rich palette of blue, white, and black, while the cream-colored shade is finished with black and gold trim. The total height of the lamp is 78 cm, with the base being 46 cm high. The diameter of the shade is 62 cm, which ensures a wide and atmospheric light spread. The lamp is equipped with a European plug.
The porcelain base is in excellent condition, retaining its original shine and vibrant colors. The lamp is functional and in working order. The original silk lampshade shows signs of wear consistent with the age of the object.
