The Panthella was originally designed in 1971 and has since been regarded as one of Verner Panton's most important designs. The table lamp's recognizable, soft, organic shape, combined with the opal white color, is not only beautiful but also functional, providing a pleasantly diffused and reflected light. The hemispherical shade directs the light downwards so that it is reflected by the trumpet-shaped base.
