Product description
This set is a vintage French orangeade service, produced by Erdecor in the 1950s. It consists of six large ceramic goblets and their metal carrying basket, embodying mid-century elegance.
The basket, a creation of Production Escaut, is made of metal and gilded with fine gold, as evidenced by the original seal still present. Its central handle is covered with a black plastic scoubidou-style weave. The six ceramic goblets measure 17 cm in height. They feature a distinctive two-tone finish, with a matte purple base and a white upper part, enhanced by a hand-painted frieze of black leaves.
The set is in good overall condition, showing character and patina consistent with its age and use. The presence of the original certification seal on the basket highlights its authenticity and period manufacturing quality. The pieces retain their decorative and functional appeal.
This beverage service is an excellent addition for a summer table or as a decorative object in a Mid-Century Modern or Retro style interior. It brings a touch of color and history to any living space or dining room.
