Product description
Unusual and very friendly set of 2 covered table bins
(or courtesy waste pots), produced in Milan by the
MVS manufacture (MVS & Promotions workshops, via
Pasubio 14) during the 1980s / 1990s.
This coordinated set in glazed terracotta is structured
around a curved shape with two green handles. The ocher
yellow body features a floral decoration entirely hand-painted,
showcasing a large bright yellow central flower
surrounded by dark olive green scrolls and leaves.
The rim bears the explicit title painted in capital
letters: "TABLE BIN".
Each pot is topped with its matching domed, buttoned lid.
The base retains its original factory paper label
"Garantiamo che l'oggetto è DIPINTO A MANO / mvs v.
Pasubio 14 MILANO". A beautiful set of humorous Italian folk art.
Features:
• Manufacturer: MVS Milano (Via Pasubio 14, Italy)
• Object type: Covered table pots ("Bin")
• Technique: Hand-painted glazed ceramic
• Period: Circa 1985-1995
• Dimensions (each): Length 19 cm | Width 15 cm |
Height (with lid) 13 cm

mirror-like brilliance.
