Private sellerProduct description
Pair of vintage Scandinavian design modules 1960 - 1970.
Elegant pair of vintage Scandinavian design bedside tables from the 60s-70s.
Each module features beautiful organic "wave" or "hollow" shaped handles.
Work reminiscent of Danish designers or major French publishers of the time such as Samcom, Minvielle or NF.
The perfectly fitted drawers with horizontal wood grain offer a rich and natural texture.
Their floor-standing "box" structure, resting directly on a plinth, gives them an architectural, robust and resolutely modern look.
Their sober and balanced line, typical of Scandinavian modernism, combines with a rare modularity.
These two modules can be combined to create four configurations according to your desires and your interior.
4 possible arrangements:
Bedside tables on either side of a bed or as end tables for a sofa.
Low sideboard, side by side.
Chest of drawers, stacked (provide a thick rubber mat to protect the top)
Coffee table, back to back.
Their timeless design fits equally well in a contemporary or vintage interior.
No stamp, label or brand.
At the time, many manufacturers used a paper label or an ink stamp that has since disappeared. This design is similar to creations by Sven Ellekaer, Dyrlund or certain French modular series from the 60s.
Highlights: modular for 4 uses, easy to move and relocate, timeless, decorative and functional, genuine matching pair in good condition.
Period: 1960-1970s.
Style: Scandinavian / modernist.
Condition: stable and solid furniture; drawers slide, remove and reinsert easily. Good overall condition with slight traces of use, consistent with their age.
Dimensions per module: L 66, 30 × W 41, 70 × H 33, 80 cm.
