Product description
Here is a pair of vintage desk lamps, representative of 1970s design. These luminaires are distinguished by their chrome-plated metal structure and black lampshades, a combination of materials and colors emblematic of the Space Age era. Their functional design and sleek silhouette make them pieces of character.
Each lamp rests on a stable circular chrome base, topped by a vertical rod along which the lampshade can be adjusted in height. The lampshades, made of black lacquered metal on the outside and white on the inside for optimal light diffusion, are also adjustable. This dual functionality allows the light beam to be directed precisely, whether for reading or to create ambient lighting.
This set is in very good condition, showing careful use over the decades. The chrome retains its shine and the lampshades have a uniform finish. The fact that it is a matching and complete pair increases their appeal to collectors and design enthusiasts.
Ideal for framing a desk or console, these lamps can also serve as bedside lamps in a Mid-Century or vintage-inspired bedroom. Their symmetrical and graphic design will bring a touch of structured elegance to any contemporary or classic interior.
