Private sellerProduct description
Here is a pair of ceramic candle holders made by the Dutch manufacturer Royal Goedewaagen. These pieces illustrate the iconic "Blue Delft" style, renowned for its delicate hand-painted motifs and craftsmanship heritage. Each candle holder is shaped from cream-colored ceramic and adorned with hand-painted floral decorations in a rich cobalt blue hue. Made in Holland, they bear the manufacturer's mark under the base, confirming their authenticity and artisanal production. One of the candle holders features a unique inscription, "With compliments of Mobil Plastics Europe", which attests to its history as a corporate promotional item, adding a distinctive element of provenance. The set is in excellent overall condition, with glossy enamel and well-preserved painted details. The ceramic shows no major flaws, attesting to careful preservation over the years. This is a matching pair, making for a coherent and complete set. These candle holders fit perfectly into a classic, rustic, or Dutch-inspired decor. They can be placed on a mantelpiece, sideboard, or dining table to add a touch of traditional elegance and European charm.
