pair of andirons. french work from the 19th century. black patina bronze andirons with caryatid heads. wrought iron trestles. good condition. the andirons are cleaned but not stripped to preserve their remarkable patina. note a slight original deformation at the end of one of the trestles, which has no effect on the stability of the andirons (see photos and zoom). the total height of one andirons is 24 cm. the total depth of one andirons is 42 cm. the total width of one andirons is 14.5 cm. the price indicated is for the pair of andirons. the original nuts have been replaced (see photos and zoom).
