Thai Tephanom Guardians – Mid-Century Teak A rare and mirrored pair of hand-carved celestial guardians from Thailand. Crafted from solid teak wood, depicted in a serene, reverent posture.

Expertise & Condition
We date this pair of statues to approximately 65 years old. The refined proportions and visible chisel marks attest to authentic craftsmanship from the 1960s. In the deep grooves of the carving, minuscule remnants of the original yellow pigments are still visible, confirming the historical layering and vintage status of this set. The teak wood exhibits a rich, natural patina and is in excellent, stable condition.
