Product description
This is a pair of vintage side tables, crafted from oak and updated for contemporary use. The design presents a compelling contrast between the classic warmth of the wooden drawer units and the clean lines of modern metal legs. The main structure of each table is constructed from solid oak, showcasing a rich, warm finish and visible wood grain. Each table features a single drawer, complete with a simple turned wooden knob and traditional joinery, offering convenient storage. The original bases have been replaced with four cylindrical metal legs with a black finish, elevating the tables to a height that is well-suited for today's interiors. Overall, the tables are in good vintage condition, retaining the character and patina of their age. The wooden surfaces are well-preserved, and the drawers operate smoothly. The modification to the legs is a deliberate update that adds both stability and a distinct stylistic element. This versatile pair is ideal for use as nightstands in a bedroom or as end tables beside a sofa. Their unique blend of vintage character and modern form allows them to complement a range of decor styles, from classic to transitional and eclectic settings.
