Product description
Vintage jugs in glazed ceramic, from Central Europe. They form a pair of folk pottery from the mid-20th century.
Glazed ceramic jugs were used in homes across Central Europe to store and serve water, wine or milk.
Both jugs are glazed in green, with a floral decoration in white, red and yellow and a scalloped band on the neck and on the base. They have a ribbon handle and a pouring lip.
The green glaze keeps a strong sheen, with light signs of use.
Grouped on a sideboard or a shelf, they add color and work as vases.
