Product description
Vintage jugs in glazed ceramic, from Central Europe. They form a pair of folk pottery from the mid-20th century. Glazed ceramic jugs were used in homes across Central Europe to store and serve water, wine or milk. Both jugs are glazed in cream, with the rim and lip in green. A floral decoration painted in red, green and black runs around the body. The cream glaze keeps its sheen, with light signs of use. Grouped on a sideboard or a shelf, they add color and work as vases.
