Product description
Vintage jugs in glazed ceramic, from Central Europe. They form a pair of folk pottery from the mid-20th century.
Glazed ceramic jugs were used in homes across Central Europe to store and serve water, wine or milk.
One jug is glazed in cream yellow and the other in orange-brown. Both carry hand-painted flowers in orange and blue, with green leaves, and one has a pouring lip.
The glazes keep their sheen, with light signs of use.
Grouped on a sideboard or a shelf, they add color and work as vases.
