Product description
Vintage jugs in glazed ceramic, from Central Europe. They form a pair of folk pottery from the early 20th century.
Glazed ceramic jugs were used in homes across Central Europe to store and serve water, wine or milk.
The two jugs, one larger and one smaller, are glazed in olive green with cream and red dots set in vertical rows. The rim and interior show the terracotta tone of the clay.
The olive green keeps a soft sheen, with light signs of use.
Grouped on a sideboard or a shelf, they add color and work as vases.
