Product description
Pair of porcelain and bronze lamps, the ovoid vase ending in a long conical neck with a flared lip, in Canton porcelain with a predominantly green and white background, the body decorated with green vermicules, butterflies and pink flowers on a gold background, with 4 cartouches in reserve decorated with floral motifs and court or palatine scenes, with polychrome figures dressed in traditional garb, on a white background. The neck is entirely decorated with palatine scenes.
Quadripod base decorated with motifs, top of the frame decorated with a gadroon and an openwork grid, and a decorative key, in gilded bronze.
Chinese work for the vase and French work for the frame, circa 1880.
New, functional electrical system. Works with two E14 sockets.
