Product description
Very nice pair of small silver-plated candle holders, probably English made, unmarked. Antique Georgian style work, circa 1920-1940. Elegant shape with a turned and balustered shaft, alternating rings, bulges and flared parts, resting on a slightly domed circular base. Small flared nozzles designed to receive thin candles 1cm in diameter. Beautiful silver patina, slightly dark in places, revealing a delicately brushed appearance due to old cleanings.
11.5cm high, 6cm max diameter at the base, approximately 1cm inner diameter for candles. Very good general condition, with a fine patina of cleaning scratches and some discreet signs of use. Note a crack in the metal around the edge of the foot of one of the candle holders, visible but not very bothersome once placed. Approximately 200gr each.
