Product description
A pair of 1930s modernist dining chairs with curved wooden backs and newly upholstered mustard-yellow seats.
The broad backrests curve gently around the sitter, offering comfortable support. Rounded corners soften the simple frames, and the open backs keep the chairs looking light around a table. The dark wood has a particularly attractive grain, brought out by the fresh shellac polish.
Both chairs have been recently restored, with new fabric to the seats. The warm yellow upholstery works beautifully with the brown wood, making this an appealing pair for a small dining table or breakfast area.
Believed to be of Czech origin, from former Czechoslovakia. Designer and manufacturer unknown.
