A pair of "Colonial Chairs" in mahogany and original black leather, displaying a lovely patina. Elegance and quality craftsmanship characterize the designs of Ole Wanscher, considered one of the greatest names in Danish design. These chairs are inspired by classic 18th-century English furniture. The "Colonial Chair" is a major design piece. Its solid mahogany frame and caned seat in perfect condition, upholstered with thick leather cushions, give it a light and very comfortable feel. These chairs are in very good condition. From an earlier edition, their frames bear the metal hallmarks of the manufacturer Poul Jeppesen and the Danish label.
