About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
A spectacular presence for this exceptional pair of monumental Art Deco vases/jars.
Standing at a remarkable 60 cm tall, this pair immediately captures the eye and stands out as a true work of art in any interior. Each jar features a sumptuous tropical and floral design: a pair of parrots with shimmering plumage, nestled within a frieze of stylized roses with Cubist influences.
The technical craftsmanship is remarkable, executed with raised, outlined enamels that offer a superb texture and a brilliant shine. The intense mottled blue background contrasts beautifully with the vibrant palette of motifs (turquoise, coral, saffron yellow, and emerald green), typical of the whimsical style of the 1920s and 30s.
Whether used to frame a fireplace, adorn a large sideboard in a modernist style, or simply placed on the floor, these pieces will bring a touch of extravagance and timeless elegance to your décor. Style: Art Deco / Neo-Art Deco
Technique: Ceramic, relief enamels (Longwy/Keramis style)
Dimensions: Height: 60 cm | Maximum diameter: approximately 25-30 cm
Motifs: Exotic parrots, roses, and geometric friezes
Condition: Excellent overall condition; the enamels have retained all their freshness and superb luster (see detailed photos).
2 Shipments in two separate packages.
2 large Colissimo packages with signature required upon delivery.
One has flowers that are a lighter yellow.
