Magnificent pair of sculptural lamps, dating from the 1980s-1990s. This is a rare model from the KOSTKA company, made in France.
Gilt metal, black fabric shades.
Some normal signs of wear.
Dimensions of the larger lamp: 90 cm high, 35 cm wide.
Dimensions of the smaller lamp: 79 cm high, 35 cm wide.
This company was founded forty-five years ago by Jacques Kostka, who, in the late 1980s, counted among his clients such prestigious hotels as the Hyatt, Four Seasons, Marriott, and Ritz-Carlton.
According to my research, this is an extremely rare model.
These exceptional lamps will bring a touch of chic and elegance to any interior, whether contemporary or more classic.
Note that they have been repainted gold to give them a modern look. Good condition with signs of wear and use, please see photos.
