Product description
Rare pair of adjustable wall lights designed by Josef Hurka and manufactured by Napako, Czechoslovakia, during the 1950s.
These original Mid-Century Modern sconces feature lacquered metal bodies with elegant cylindrical diffusers and adjustable shades, allowing the direction of light to be easily changed. Their refined functionalist design reflects the timeless aesthetics that made Josef Hurka one of the leading Czech lighting designers of the post-war period.
Both fixtures have been professionally restored, carefully repolished, and fitted with new electrical wiring while preserving their authentic vintage appearance. The original Napako labels remain intact.
Perfect for bedrooms, reading corners, hallways, bathrooms, hotels, galleries, and modern interiors where iconic European lighting is appreciated.
Condition
Professionally restored and repolished. New wiring. Minor signs of age and use consistent with vintage condition. US compatible.
