Product description
This pair of 1960s armchairs is attributed to Jiří Jiroutek. Each chair has a tall upholstered back in red woven fabric, set in an open wooden frame with gently curved armrests and angled, tapered legs. The design reflects the clean, functional mid-century furniture of 1960s Czechoslovakia. The pair would suit a living room, a reading corner or a bedroom. Condition and Character **Original condition with signs of use consistent with age.** Both chairs are in their original condition and show the wear you would expect from their age and use. The wooden frames have scratches, rubbed areas and small marks, mainly on the armrests and legs. The red upholstery shows surface fuzz and pilling, with lighter wear in places. The chairs can be used as they are and also make a good base for refurbishment. Please review the detailed photos closely to inspect the exact cosmetic condition before purchasing.
