Product description
A striking pair of Italian Space Age illuminated round mirrors dating from the 1970s.
The mirrors feature sculptural molded plastic frames in a warm brown finish, circular mirrored glass and integrated milky glass diffusers. Once illuminated, the diffusers create a dramatic glowing ring around each mirror, producing the futuristic visual effect characteristic of Italian Space Age design of the period.
Their generous 75 cm diameter and deep rounded profiles give the pair a strong sculptural and architectural presence. Displayed together, they make an impressive statement and work particularly well in a bathroom, dressing room, bedroom, entrance hall or sophisticated contemporary interior.
The combination of mirror and integrated ambient lighting makes these pieces both functional and highly decorative.
Made in Italy, circa 1970s.
