Product description
Beautiful pair of Italian Murano glass table lamps from the 1960s, featuring sculptural spherical white glass shades resting on polished chrome-plated metal bases.
Each globe is decorated with an elegant swirling ribbon motif integrated into the glass, creating a dynamic spiral composition that changes subtly depending on the viewing angle. When illuminated, the opaline glass diffuses the light beautifully and produces a warm, atmospheric glow.
The contrast between the softly rounded Murano glass globes and reflective chrome bases gives the pair a strong Space Age and Mid-Century Modern character, representative of adventurous Italian lighting design of the period.
Their matching proportions make them particularly attractive as a pair of bedside or nightstand lamps, while their sculptural appearance also works beautifully on consoles, side tables or within contemporary interiors.
