Product description
Exceptional pair of Italian bamboo and rattan lounge chairs dating from the 1960s. These highly decorative chairs feature an intricate handwoven geometric lattice construction and a distinctive barrel-shaped silhouette characteristic of Mediterranean and Italian coastal design of the period.
The combination of natural bamboo, woven rattan, and removable upholstered cushions creates an inviting balance between comfort and craftsmanship. Their sculptural appearance makes them equally suitable as statement seating in residential interiors, boutique hospitality projects, conservatories, or vacation homes.
The woven structure showcases remarkable artisanal workmanship while maintaining a lightweight visual presence. Original vintage examples of this quality and design remain highly sought after by collectors and interior designers alike.
