Superb pair of swivel armchairs designed by Charles Eames and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. These armchairs feature an elegant fiberglass shell paired with a brushed aluminum star base, typical of the American manufacturer's early modernist productions. The seat is upholstered in a fine bouclé ivory jersey, offering a soft contrast with the metal structure. The cushions, secured by original straps, are removable and feature dense foam that retains excellent resilience. The armchairs rest on a 360° swivel base, providing comfort and functionality while maintaining a light and sculptural silhouette.
