Product description
This pair of modernist nightstands was designed by Vichr & spol and manufactured by Kovona in the former Czechoslovakia during the 1950s. The design reflects Bauhaus-influenced modernism common in Central Europe, emphasizing clear geometry, functional construction, and restrained use of materials.
Each nightstand features a chromed metal structure combined with oak veneer panels. The chrome surfaces remain well preserved, while the wood elements show light, age-related wear. Overall, the pair presents clean lines and balanced proportions consistent with mid-century functionalist furniture.
