About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Elegant pair of Italian Art Deco bedside tables, made in the 1930s-1940s, featuring remarkable walnut veneer work with deep and symmetrical grain. Their geometric architecture combines clean lines with delicately rounded corners. Each bedside table consists of a top shelf, an open niche, a small drawer, and a lower compartment closed by a door. The fronts feature superb book-matched veneer work, revealing the natural patterns of the wood in warm and contrasting tones. The light circular handles add a refined touch to the ensemble. The particularly unique base rests on four massive rounded wooden supports, traversed by dark cylindrical rods. An original architectural detail that gives this pair a strong sculptural identity. Two pieces of Italian furniture with a strong character, representative of Art Deco aesthetics, combining elegance and quality craftsmanship. DIMENSIONS H65cm 35x46cm
