This striking pair of Art Deco armchairs was designed by Jindřich Halabala and produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1940s. The chairs showcase Halabala’s signature sculptural language, combining bent beech wood armrests with a compact yet elegant upholstered form.
The armchairs have been professionally restored and newly upholstered in a high-quality fabric imitating sheepskin, enhancing both comfort and visual appeal while respecting the original design intent. The dark stained beech wood structure provides a strong architectural contrast and emphasizes the flowing curves of the armrests.
A highly desirable and collectible example of Central European Art Deco seating, suitable for refined interiors or curated vintage collections.
