A lovely pair of armchairs, produced in the 1940s or so, attributed to the design of Osvaldo Borsani, Art Deco style, Italy. Both armchairs have a wooden frame, with curved armrests in light wood that contrast with the dark fabric. The front legs are straight and slightly conical, while the rear legs are curved outwards.
The upholstery is in dark brown fabric, in imitation velvet.

Condition: The wood of the armrests shows signs of wear, discoloration and scratches. One of them has been glued as shown in the photo. The padding is a little sagging, and the fabrics show some stains and worn areas. It is advisable to replace the padding as it is worn and has lost material. The fabric shows signs of wear, discoloration and creases, typical of age and normal use over time.
