Private sellerProduct description
Exceptional and Rare Pair of Architectural Solid Travertine Coffee Tables, Attributed to the Legendary Italian Manufacture Up & Up, Circa 1980.
Featuring the Iconic "Double-Tier" Stepped Design—Often Referenced in Modern Design as the Timeless Sartoria Style—These Tables Represent the Pinnacle of Late 20th-Century Italian Stone Craftsmanship. Each Piece is Crafted From Solid Italian Travertine With Elegant Horizontal Veining and a Smooth, Honed Finish That Highlights the Stone's Organic Texture.
What Truly Distinguishes This Pair is the Exceptional Marbling Execution: The Central Support Base is Meticulously Assembled Using Seamless 45-Degree Mitered Joints, Creating the Illusion That the Floating Tabletop is Anchored by a Single, Monolithic Sculptured Stone Block.
While Single Tables of This Model Occasionally Appear on the Market, Finding an Original Matching Pair From the 1980s is Exceptionally Rare. They Offer Immense Versatility for Interior Styling—Use Them Separately as Commanding Side/Coffee Tables, or Position Them Side-by-Side to Create a Monumental, Modular Focal Point in a Large Living Room.
Dimensions (Per Table):
Top Plate: 82 x 82 cm
Total Height: 33 cm
Base Footprint: 34.5 x 34.5 cm
Condition:
In Excellent Vintage Condition, Beautifully Preserved With Authentic 1980s Character and No Structural Flaws. The Travertine Displays a Warm, Natural Patina Typical of High-End Stone From This Era.
Logistical Note:
Please Keep in Mind That Because These Tables Are Crafted From Solid Natural Stone, They Are Substantial and Very Heavy Pieces. They Are Currently Located on the Ground Floor / Accessible for Pickup in Brussels, Belgium.
