Product description
We offer this splendid pair of Italian bedside tables, possessing an enduring, antique charm—perfect for enhancing any bedroom. Dating back to the early 19th century, they exhibit the stylistic and structural characteristics typical of the opulent Empire period.
Crafted from solid walnut, their lines are rigorous and essential, free from excessive ornamentation. On the front, two decorative columns—a hallmark of the Empire style—create a striking visual accent. These columns are embellished with small, finely chased gilt-bronze capitals, which have acquired a natural, aged patina. In terms of functionality, each bedside table features a convenient top drawer and a spacious lower compartment, enclosed by a door and containing an internal shelf. Their generous dimensions and excellent proportions make them ideal for storing small, everyday bedroom items. The deep brown hue of the walnut wood complements any bedroom style: it creates a fantastic contrast in modern settings or offers a harmonious, seamless look in more classic interiors.
These antique bedside tables are an ideal choice for those seeking furniture with real character—sturdy, capacious pieces that bring both warmth and prestige to a bedroom. Purchase them today to bring a rare piece of Italian antiquity into your home.
The bedside tables are in good condition, showing minor signs of wear consistent with their age. We invite you to examine all the images carefully and to contact us should you require any further information.
