Product description
Antique jugs in glazed ceramic, from Central Europe. They form a pair of folk pottery from the early 20th century.
Glazed ceramic jugs were used in homes across Central Europe to store and serve water, wine or milk.
Both jugs are covered in a reddish-brown glaze and decorated with cream ornaments and touches of blue. Cream bands mark the neck and the base.
The reddish glaze has a warm tone, with small losses on the rims and wear where the jugs are held.
Grouped on a sideboard or a shelf, they add color and work as vases.
