Product description
Antique jugs in glazed ceramic, from Central Europe. They form a pair of folk pottery from the early 20th century.
Glazed ceramic jugs were used in homes across Central Europe to store and serve water, wine or milk.
Both jugs are glazed in green and brown, with incised rings around the body and a pouring lip.
The glaze shows variations in tone, with a small blue spot on one of the pieces.
Grouped on a sideboard or a shelf, they add color and work as vases.
