Product description
This painting by the Belgian artist Patrick Ramont depicts a serene coastal scene, titled 'Zeedijk Oostende met Rode Bal 2'. The work stands out due to the clear, figurative rendering of a beach scene, in which the striking red ball forms a playful contrast with the calm, sandy and blue tones of the surroundings.
The artwork is executed in oil paint on canvas and is dated 2008. The composition shows two typical concrete beach chairs on the sand, with the sea and a clear blue sky in the background. The painting is framed in a classic, white and gold-patinated wooden frame, which contributes to its timeless appearance. The dimensions of the canvas are 30 by 40 centimeters. Frame 53*43 cm.
The work is in excellent condition and is signed by the artist on the front. On the back, the title, Ramont's signature, and the year 2008 are clearly legible. The painting also features the artist's stamp and a label from the framer in Ostend. This painting fits perfectly into a classic or maritime-inspired interior. It brings a touch of Belgian coastal nostalgia to the room and forms a calming element in a living room, hallway, or study.
