(born 1955 in Amsterdam and works in Utrecht) attended the academy in Amersfoort (1st degree) and the Royal Academy in 's-Hertogenbosch. Initially, Rozemeijer created monumental works of clay, and subsequently objects and installations of wood, metal, and cement. In addition, she has always drawn and painted, and just as with her sculptures, she manages to evoke a special atmosphere. People, animals, patterns, or buildings—actually nothing special. The visual external world influences her inner world and returns on the canvas in a blended form. In recent years, she has been particularly fascinated by spaces, buildings, and reflections. Recognizable elements, but not an exact representation of reality. There is room for association and the attribution of meaning, each from their own memory or experience.
She has exhibited in countless places. She received a scholarship several times, and her work is included in various private and corporate collections.
