Product description
This is an original graphic work by the Dutch visual artist Dries Reeder. The piece, signed and dated '87, is a characteristic example of his abstract style, in which line play and texture are central.
The Art is an etching or drypoint print on paper, executed in a striking blue hue. The composition consists of a complex network of fine, incised lines that create depth and movement. The work is framed behind glass in a simple metal frame with a cream-colored passe-partout, which places the focus entirely on the abstract representation. The artist's signature is applied in pencil on the passe-partout.
The overall condition of the Art is good, retaining the original colors and details of the print. The work shows character consistent with a piece from the late eighties and is ready to be hung. The artist's business card is attached to the back, confirming its provenance.
With its understated yet dynamic appearance, this work is a subtle addition to various interior styles, from modern to minimalist. It fits well in a living room, study, or hallway, and can be presented both solitarily and as part of a larger Art wall.
