About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an original painting by the artist Chrit Rousseau, executed in oil on canvas. The work, titled 'Slava 26', depicts an expressive portrait of a clown reaching for a yellow balloon, a composition that radiates both melancholy and a certain playfulness.
The painting was created in 2001 and is an excellent example of Rousseau's distinctive style. The artist used a heavy impasto technique, where the paint is applied thickly, giving a tangible texture and depth to the surface. The work has a square format of 108 by 108 centimeters. The color palette is dominated by deep blue, vibrant yellow, and accents of red, creating a dramatic contrast.
The artwork is in very good condition, with bright and undamaged colors. It is signed and dated by the artist in the lower right: 'Rousseau 2001'. The canvas is framed in a modern, floating frame with a black interior and a gold-colored outer edge that complements the colors of the painting.
Due to its considerable size and powerful appearance, this painting is an impressive eye-catcher. It fits well into a modern or eclectic interior and can take a central place in a living room, office, or reception area.
