About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This abstract painting on canvas presents itself as an expressive artwork with a striking, mosaic-like structure. The composition is characterized by bold, geometric color fields separated by dark contour lines, lending the work a dynamic depth. The artwork, executed on canvas, displays a vibrant palette of green, blue, red, yellow, and pink against a dark background. The technique is reminiscent of the formal language of Cubism and abstract art. In the upper right corner is a monogram 'EG' with the date 'Oct 79', indicating its creation in 1979. The work is unframed and stretched on a wooden stretcher frame. The painting's condition reflects its age, giving it an authentic vintage character. The colors have retained their vibrancy, while the canvas and stretcher frame bear the marks of time. This artwork would be an excellent addition as a colorful accent to modern or eclectic interiors. It blends seamlessly into spaces characterized by mid-century modern or contemporary design, providing an interesting visual focal point on any wall. Sold without warranty.
