Product description
This work is a lithograph after the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso, titled "Le roi s'amuse". The piece captures one of Picasso's recurring themes, the jester or commedia dell'arte character, rendered in his characteristic linear and expressive style.
Executed on paper, this color lithograph presents a simple yet powerful composition. The work is signed and dated "12.1.83" in the plate, indicating a posthumous edition that respects the artist's original drawing. Black lines define the figure, while touches of red, yellow, and blue animate the portrait. The piece is presented in a cream-colored wooden frame with a white passe-partout, protecting the print under glass.
The overall condition of the lithograph is very good, with colors remaining vibrant and the paper well-preserved. The frame is also in good condition, ready to be hung. The ensemble testifies to careful attention that has preserved the visual integrity of the work over time.
This piece by Pablo Picasso harmoniously integrates into a modern or eclectic interior. It can serve as a focal point in an office, living room, or library, bringing a touch of history of Art and modernist sophistication to the space.
