About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This dining set in Biedermeier style consists of an oval table and six matching chairs, crafted from mahogany wood. The set embodies the elegance and craftsmanship of the 19th-century style, characterized by refined silhouettes and a rich wood finish.
The oval table rests on a central leg that branches into four legs with metal details. A built-in butterfly mechanism allows the table to be easily extended, flexibly accommodating four to six people. The chairs feature openwork, elegantly carved backrests and are upholstered in a striped fabric in blue and cream tones. The upholstery and inner springs have recently been professionally renewed.
The dining set is in good, used condition and shows the character befitting a piece of furniture with a history. The set comes from family ownership and has been cherished by three generations, contributing to its unique origin and the lived-in character of the wood.
With its classic appearance and flexible design, this dining set is a timeless addition to a dining room or eat-in kitchen. The piece combines historical charm with practical usability and forms an elegant centerpiece in both classic and eclectic interiors.
