Product description
This complete set of old weights is a classic example of functional antique. The set consists of five solid brass weights, varying in size, which together form an authentic and historic whole. The weights are crafted from brass and rest in a custom-made wooden block. The set displays the original markings, including the indications for 1KG and 500W, as well as the 'RD' hallmark on the underside. The combination of the warm wood and the patinated metal emphasizes the industrial and historical value of these objects. The set is in good, original condition with a distinct patina reflecting its age and previous use. The natural oxidation of the brass contributes to the authentic character of the weights without compromising their structural integrity. This set of brass weights is an excellent addition to a classic or industrial interior. The object comes into its own as a decorative element on a desk, in a bookcase, or as part of a collection of antique measuring instruments.
