About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a Ceiling light by Orion Wien, crafted in the Art Nouveau style. The design is characterized by its geometric structure and elaborate ornamentation, typical of the Viennese Secession movement.
The "Prager Corso" model features a square frame made of gold-colored brass, decorated with embossed geometric patterns and blue glass inserts. Four cylindrical lampshades made of white opal glass are attached at the corners. The lamp is richly adorned with clear and blue crystal pendants that reflect the light and provide atmospheric illumination. The construction is designed for four light sources, allowing for generous room lighting.
The lamp is in very good condition, commensurate with its age and origin. The brass surfaces show a slight, even patina, which emphasizes the authentic character of the piece. All glass and crystal components are intact and complete, preserving the historical integrity of the lamp.
With its elegant appearance, this Ceiling light is ideal as a central lighting element in a dining room, living room, or a representative entrance area. It seamlessly integrates into classic or eclectic interiors and adds a touch of historical elegance to any room.
