About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
An authentic coffee table designed by Italian designer Willy Rizzo, a characteristic piece from the seventies. This design is a prime example of the Hollywood Regency style, known for its luxurious appearance and bold geometry. The table is immediately recognizable by its sculptural base and the refined combination of materials, making it a sought-after object for vintage design enthusiasts.
The square top is made of thick, dark smoked glass, resting on a complex and architectural base. The base is constructed from an interplay of chromed steel and brass, resulting in an elegant two-tone effect. The interlocking geometric shapes create a visually captivating play of lines and reflections, typical of Rizzo's work from this period.
The coffee table is in good vintage condition, with a character that matches its age and history. The materials have developed a light, authentic patina that adds to the object's charm. The construction is solid and the overall aesthetic has been excellently preserved.
As a central element in a living room, this coffee table adds a touch of timeless glamour. The piece seamlessly integrates into both modern and eclectic interiors and forms a stylish addition to a refined seating area.
The table can also be delivered to your home by us, in consultation.
