Product description
An iconic Gispen 354 office chair designed by W.H. Gispen in 1933. This chair is swivel and height adjustable on a four-legged chrome base. Also, the backrest is tiltable for extra comfort. Both armrests have bakelite armrests.
It is a beautiful and solid office chair, which also stood in the radio room the SS Rotterdam (Holland America line), a true classic within Dutch design history. This Gispen 354 exudes elegance with its clean lines, industrial charm and functional simplicity. A stylish choice as an office chair, reading spot or as an eye-catcher in your interior.
The seat height is adjustable from 48 to 55 cm. The seat depth is 44cm, height 78cm, width 59cm, overall depth 51cm.
This chair is upholstered with Petrol Manchester ribcord (Blue corduroy). The chair is in neat vintage condition with light signs of use befitting its age, see photos.
Besides this beautiful example there are 2 more almost identical chairs available: one with brown upholstery and one with similar Petrol Manchester ribcord (Blue corduroy) but with slightly different chrome base, see other ad.
