About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Rare four-person dining room table/desk, model 530, designed by Willem (Wim) Rietveld for Gispen. A superb example of 1950s Dutch functional design, with slim steel frame and characteristic minimalist design. This is an original from 1959 - a true collector's item for vintage design enthusiasts.
The black table top shows clear signs of use and deserves restoration, but the original base is sturdy and in good condition. Perfect for those who want to own authentic Rietveld design and are willing to refurbish the top. An opportunity to bring a piece of design history into your home.
The table can be picked up in Vught.
As the pictures show, the table top has suffered considerably and the paint on the base is also no longer in new condition.
