Product description
This is an authentic, hand-painted ceramic wall plate, manufactured in the Turkish city of Kütahya. The piece is a beautiful example of traditional 'çini' ceramic art, known for its vibrant colors and complex patterns deeply rooted in Ottoman history.
The plate is made of ceramic and entirely hand-painted, as indicated by the 'Elhamra Çini' stamp on the back. The design features a rich palette of cobalt blue, turquoise, red, and green on a cream-colored background, finished with a clear glaze. The detailed floral and geometric motifs are characteristic of the Iznik style, which has been cherished for centuries.
The overall condition of the plate is excellent, with bright, unfaded colors and an intact luster. The craftsmanship is clearly visible in the fine lines and careful composition, giving the piece an authentic and artistic character. A wire is attached to the back for easy hanging.
As a decorative object, this wall plate adds a colorful and cultural accent to any interior. It fits particularly well in an eclectic, Bohemian, or Asian style and can serve as a striking piece of wall art, both solo and in combination with other decorative pieces.
