For sale is a true design classic: an original Thonet Rocking chair Model 825 from 1966.
This rare collector's item is in excellent and absolutely ready-to-live-in original condition. The iconic Viennese caning on the seat and backrest is completely flawless, tightly stretched, and shows no damage or breaks. The wooden frame has a beautiful, authentic patina. There are only minimal, age-appropriate signs of wear in the form of light scratches on the front of one rail (see last photo),
Guaranteed authenticity: The authenticity of this design classic has been proven beyond doubt. The original Thonet seal is present on the chair (see eighth/second to last photo).
